Nancy Strahan

Nancy Strahan is from Acres Homes, Texas. Nancy went to school at HCC and later transferred to Lone Star majoring in Psychology. She is the first-born grandchild and was taught from her grandmother growing up to always be there and take care of family. Therefore, when her grandmother passed, she felt a lot of pressure to pick up and carry on where she had left off.

Nancy married her high school sweetheart and had two children, one being special needs. Nancy went through a divorce, still holding her head up and working hard to provide what she didn’t have growing up. Nancy found out at the age of 13 her mom was an addict, she left home at 14 all the while still trying to look out for and take care of her brothers as best as she could. Nancy also had a lot of Aunts and Uncles that were addicts. She was determined life for her children would be totally different than her upbringing. The curves of life took her on a different path. It took her going through all the trials and tribulations she went through for her to try putting forth a better effort to rebuild with her mother.

She is so Grateful that God looked beyond her faults and saw her needs. She is very passionate about giving back. Ready and inspired to reach as many as she can by giving back through Life after Life.
